We hope first and foremost that you and your loved ones are safe and stay that way.
We are doing our utmost to be as flexible as possible and we have waived the 45 day cancellation period in our normal cancellation policy so that if you need to change or cancel your booking due to Government COVID19 restrictions you have options.
Please find the following options we offer our guests with bookings affected by the COVID-19 restrictions imposed by State or Federal Government;
1.If you move your booking to a later date this Winter, or to next Summer, or to next season – Winter 2022 you can avoid any admin or cancellation fees.
If you chose this option pop onto our live bookings and availability on the www.cedarwoodfallscreek.com website to see what dates are available.
Please don’t panic if you can’t see availability for winter 2022 as it may not yet be released so if this is the case, please email with your preferred dates so that we can check them for you.
If next winters rates are higher than this year you will need to pay the difference between this winter and next winter.
We will require that you remain in the apartment already booked wherever possible.
If you move to next Summer or next Winter (more than 45 days away) we only require a 50% deposit so would be happy to refund the other portion of your booking payment and leave that to be paid 45 days prior to your new arrival date.
2.Alternatively, if you don’t move your booking you can cancel your booking and receive a refund of 85% (an admin fee of 15% of the total accommodation cost will be deducted) – even if inside the usual 45 days no refund period.
If you are booked through booking.com DO NOT CANCEL THE BOOKING THROUGH THEM UNLESS YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO CEDARWOOD APARTMENTS FIRST. We will cancel that booking at our end so that you don’t have to pay further fees to them and you get their “resort fee”/commission back too!
We will need your BSB and bank account number to transfer the balance into if you chose this option.
We are unable to refund back onto VISA or Master Card as we require a better paper trail for refunds and auditing.
Should COVID19 restrictions impact your booking and you decide to proceed with a cancellation or date change to your booking please let us know via email as we will require it in writing.
Please ensure that you start a new email regarding booking changes and use the following email address firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can ensure that you are talking to us directly and not through the booking.com platform that we don’t regularly check, and where their standard replies are incorrect and appear to come from us!

Cedarwood Apartments are open and operating under our COVIDSafe plan. Whilst we may not have had much of a winter season in 2020 we are expecting a “boomer” for winter 2021 with our apartments already heavily booked. If you are wanting to visit this winter dont wait or you may miss out on accommodation. At Cedarwood, and at Falls Creek in general we ask that you be patient with other guests, our staff, and locals as we all do our best in the new “COVID normal”.
At Cedarwood we have family friendly accommodation located in the heart of the Australian Alps at Falls Creek in North East Victoria. We provide a variety of comfortable, very clean and warm apartments to choose from that are located highest in the top of the Falls Creek village with unparalleled views and easy access.
The central location makes Cedarwood an easy walk, ride or slide to all other village facilities including restaurants and the supermarket.
In winter (June – early Oct) our streets are snow covered so you can ski/board in and out from Cedarwood with ease and the Accommodation Transfer Service (ATS) will deliver you right to our front door when you arrive with your luggage and collect you when you are leaving. In winter you will need to catch the Accommodation Transfer Service and we recommend that you leave the car off mountain and catch the bus so you avoid the stress of the winding mountain roads, fitting and hiring snow chains, and digging the car our if it snows while you are here!
In summer (mid Oct – May) you can drive right to our door & park on the street out front*. Relax and unwind in our roomy, clean and well presented apartments enjoying the spectacular views and the incredible quiet and tranquility. * summer parking restrictions apply in Falls Creek during our busier summer periods but you can drive to Cedarwood to unload and then park in the overnight parking which is only a 5-8 minute walk away.
With on site management here to help you, Cedarwood Apartments offer value in a wide range of comfortable studio or self-contained apartment that sleep from groups/families of 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 or 10 people in private apartments. *Studios have no cooking, while self-contained apartments do.
All apartments offer balconies with BBQ’s where you can take in the amazing sights sounds and smells.
Most apartments are self-contained (have full kitchens) and the balance are studios (with a kitchenette – no cooking). Apartments have laundry facilities (except11a), are centrally heated, and our exceptional cleaning standards are renowned. Air Conditioning is not required with a cool breeze every night in summer.

If your booking has been impacted by border closures or Victorian lock downs due to COVID-19 please visit our Terms and Conditions page which is under the accommodation tab on this website. Furthermore, if you or any member of your group is unable to prove with photo id that you are not from a restricted area you will be unable to check in to Cedarwood Apartments. Please ensure that you all have your drivers license or other photo identification with you when you arrive.
Check in time is between 4pm and 6pm. Due to COVID-19 protocols regarding temperature checking Cedarwood requires guests to arrive between these hours while our office is open so that we can temperature check the guests in your group before we can allow you to check in. We also need to gather important information about your group, explain the ins and outs of Cedarwood itself, and also copy a drivers license and Master Card or VISA card for security on the apartment. Please ensure that you allow enough time to go through the ATS terminal and be brought up to Cedarwood in winter so that you get here before our office closes. If you think you are going to be cutting it fine please call our office from Mt Beauty before your phone drops out of service on the mountain road up to Falls Creek.
Cedarwood apartments falls creek is an on mountain apartment complex comprising of privately owned apartments and operated by cedarwood management services (narelle clark). We have studio and self-contained accommodation and the highest penthouse apartment in falls creek. Year round bookings are now available. We take direct bookings. Cedarwood apartments not far from both the falls express chairlift/falls creek ski school, and the village bowl lifts.
