Cedarwood has undergone major refurbishment and renovations since 2001and we know your going to love it! Our comfortable and roomy apartments provide room to move and all that you need to make your visit to Falls Creek at any time of the year one to remember.
All apartments at Cedarwood have their own private balconies with gas BBQ's on them and gas is provided free.
Provided there is availability, one night bookings in winter can be made once the winter season has begun but not prior to the season.
Check in time is at 4pm
Check out time is at 10am
There are 2 types of accommodation to choose from at Cedarwood and these are;
Self Contained Apartments; If you would like to do your own catering or intend on spending more time at home then the full kitchen and larger living areas make the self contained apartments the ones for you. Some kitchens have dishwashers and most apartments also have their own laundry facilities. All have TV and DVD player and many have stereos too.
Studio Apartments; If you don't need a full kitchen then why pay for it? These have a small kitchenette in them so it is possible to prepare your own light meals. Kitchenettes consist of a small sink, bar fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle and have basic crockery cutlery and glassware. The all in one bedroom/living areas are cozy and of course they all have their own bathrooms. All have TV and DVD player and many have stereos too.
Booking Terms and Conditions
Cedarwood Management Services strongly recommend that guests have ambulance cover and take out travel insurance for their holiday to Falls Creek. Aussie Travel Insurance offers cover for snow holidays so try them on 1800 888 448.
Once you decide to stay at Cedarwood you will be required to pay a 50% deposit when you make your booking. Payments are usually made by direct deposit into our account over the internet, or with a credit card over the telephone (please note a 3% EFTPOS fee is added). Alternatively it can be done by cheque if arrangements are made to do so when you are booking. The remaining balance of your booking fee is due no less than 45 days prior to your arrival date at Cedarwood. Once again this is usually done via direct deposit or with a credit card over the telephone however can be done by cheque if arrangements are made to do so and the cheque arrives no less than 45 days prior to your arrival date. If your arrival date is less than 45 days after booking date you will be required to pay the full amount on booking unless other arrangements are made.
Cancellation Policy:
Should for some reason you have to cancel your booking a cancellation fee of 15% of the total booking fee will be charged. If you cancel more than 45 days before your arrival date a full refund of the monies paid less the cancellation fee will be given. If you cancel less than 45 days before your arrival date a refund less the cancellation fee will only be paid if the apartment is filled for the period that you have booked it. If the apartment is filled for part of the booked period you will receive a partial refund less the cancellation fee.
If the booking is not re filled no refund will be given.
No Snow Policy:
This Policy does not apply to apartments 4, 5 or 12 which do not have a low snow policy and guests in these apartments do not have the choice to transfer at all in low snow conditions.
For all other apartments in the Cedarwood Complex our policy is:
in the event that during winter Falls Creek is unable to open 3 runs for skiing our no snow policy comes into effect 48 hours prior to your arrival date. If we do not have 3 runs open for skiing guests have the option to transfer their booking to later that same season or to the following summer season. No transfer fee applies and transfers are subject to availability.
